Melanie Laracy is a real estate sales representative with Pay It Forward Realty. She is blessed to have an amazing husband along with 3 children who are her whole life and keep her very active! Mel moved to Brantford in 1989 at the age of 10, when her family immigrated from the island of Trinidad. 30 Years later, she is still not a fan of winter but enjoys the fun side of it, like taking the kids tubing and watching her son play hockey!
Mel has been investing in the real estate market for 15 years and has learned a whole lot about investment properties, flipping homes and what to look for in a desirable neighbourhood. The more she learned over the years, the more she was drawn to and excited about Real Estate! Becoming a realtor was the next step for her and such a natural fit. Being able to facilitate others in their journey and help them bring their dreams and vision to life is a passion for her and she takes it very seriously.
One of her favourite experiences so far was in the summer of 2018, when she helped her clients buy their dream home in a bidding war while attending a wedding! Starting off the process with the only offer and with 30 minutes to the deadline getting a call that another offer had come in is a sure way to get the adrenaline pumping. No deal in this industry is ever the same and as a strong agent, Mel was prepared and ready to make her next move.
